The end of life as I knew it

Sitting here, trying to remember when was it, that moment that I knew it was the end of life as I knew it.

When he sat next to me on the first day at school. When he gave me a lick off his ice cream. When my older friend had a crush on him and pointed him out to me. When he called me “Rio girl” that first time. When I saw him for the first time and he strongly reminded me of my favorite celebrity. When I knew I couldn’t possibly have him. When he showed up at my doorstep, different from anything I could have ever expected. When he had this great way of talking to me. When he laid down on my lap. When he seemed like another version of me walking around - that is, a few minutes into knowing him.

Each time, unique and different. And now? “Now I only send it out when I think he might be the one that makes it true.”

Will I ever be able to carpe weekend? I have a huge to do list for this weekend, including study for two huge tests, write a paper and wrap up two projects, but all I’ve been able to do is: Sleep, play Me and My Katamari on Hubby’s PSP, play with the dogs, come up with a new nickname for Yaza Who Won’t Eat (Fio, which means wire or line in Portuguese. She’s as thin as one of those) and watch TV Shows (so far, House, Grey’s Anatomy and soon The Office, Chuck and Gossip Girl).

Where did my weekend go and can it be friday night again? Pretty please?

Would it hurt so much to tell me the itty bitty minor detail that the banner was to be made using flash? Perhaps before I spent, oh, let’s say, four hours coding it?

Day status: Seriously ruined.

Does everyone now and then miscalculate the right dispenser needed for Jello? Or am I just the only human being in the entire world who realizes halfway to pouring the gelatin mix that it won’t fit?

Who the hell came up with a (dessert!) recipe that needs you to sieve cream cheese through a tiny net sieve?

I shall poke them with my sore fingers.

Why would anyone go to the beach with all the heat and sand, with a baby Golden Retriever, stay for more than four hours, with limited shadow and when the temperature is the highest?

I’m still waiting for the answer.
