“So, what do you want?”, he asked her with a sheepish smile, dropping his pen.

She hadn’t been expecting this during a job interview. She paused, and before she knew, she was looking into her own dreams, the ones she didn’t have to hope for because deep down she knew they would happen eventually.

What she really wanted was to teach English as a foreign language, be an art director and a webdesigner.

She wanted to get out of the country and see the world.

She wanted to take pictures that she was really proud of and, once and for all, really learn all about ISOs, lenses and such.

She wanted to study SEO, french, german, dutch, photography and typography.

She wanted to stop walking, look around her and see Times Square in all its buzz.

She wanted to see snow and make a snowman.

She wanted to go diving and see multi colored fish.

She wanted to ride a bike around the quiet neighborhood where she used to spend her holidays as a child.

She wanted to be a kickass pro at whatever it is that life led her to.

She wanted to take a picture with Mickey Mouse.

She wanted to have the French Bulldog(s) of her dreams.

She wanted an iPhone, a Macbook and a Sony Vaio.

She wanted to spend days without sleeping to watch over puppies.

She wanted to fall in love over and over again with the same man, everyday.

She wanted to eat chicken nuggets with french fries and a large ovaltine shake and not gain one single extra ounce from it.

She wanted to go horseback riding and bathe in a waterfall, like she did when she was twelve.

She wanted to go Best in Show.

She wanted a Grand Cherokee Limited and a Chrysler Stratus.

She wanted to walk around malls around the world and buy everyone she knows souvenirs.

She wanted to see an incredibly awesome concert.

She wanted to cry in her graduation day and feel that her mom was really proud of her.

But, she didn’t say that.
Instead, she just looked up, smiled and said, with a wink of the eye: “I want to be a webdesigner and work here.”
