- After finding a new and unopened carton of milk, procede to filling gigantic mug to the rim.
- Get powdered chocolate from cabinet and procede to adding two to seven tablespoons of chocolate to the milk.
- Microwave the whole thing for a minute.
- Procede to looking for the cap of the powdered chocolate tin.
- Have the microwave bleep several times to tell that the minute’s up.
- Find out the mixture is still lukewarm and re-microwave the thing for three minutes.
- Go back to looking for the cap of the powdered chocolate tin.
- After finding said cap, which was of course blown by the wind to the most remote and dirty spot of the house, behind an impossible to move appliance and between several lost dog chew toys, procede to get your chocolatey goodness from microwave.
- Enjoy! That is, after twenty minutes of letting it sit because it’s ohsodamnHOT from all the microwaving.
The Boyfriend insists that hot chocolate isn’t made that way, that you have to add cream, cinnamon and what not. But he also insists that once we had funghi pasta on Spoleto and that is so not true, so let’s just say he’s not the universe’s most trustworthy person.
